The Trail prospect is located on a ridge top, approximately 3 kilometres south-southeast of Treasure Mountain peak. It is situated in the central region of the Treasure Mountain property, approximately 38 kilometres east of Terrace, B.C.

The Trail prospect is within a greater than 14 kilometre north trending zone of copper+/-silver mineralization extending from Clore River valley to Kleanza River valley.

The Trail zone was discovered in 2006, during an exploration program by Trade Winds Ventures Inc., because of excavator work opening up the old trail to the northern workings. No signs of mineralization were evident on the natural surface before digging with the excavator. Many of the samples are leached and show little sign of copper mineralization on or near the weathered surface. Copper results from 2007 samples derived from excavated trenches ranged from 50 to 17,200 parts per million Cu (Assessment Report 30780).

During Decade Resources Ltd.'s 2017 program, three old trenches were found and resampled in the area designated as Trail zone in the 2008 Assessment Report. Quartz-carbonate replaced feldspar porphyritic andesite with 2 to 3 per cent bornite and chalcopyrite plus malachite stain. Copper mineralization (disseminated bornite and chalcopyrite) is restricted to an area approximately 1.0 m across and seems to be fracture controlled. A second area of mineralization (Wisla) was also discovered approximately 80 m south of the Trail trenches. The occurrence forms a 2 to 3 metre wide zone within 20 to 30 metre wide northeast striking resistant horizon comprised of variably silicified pale reddish andesite tuff. The zone is cut by 1 to 3 millimetre wide quartz veinlets. Copper mineralization consists of malachite which occurs on fractures and sporadically also in veinlets. Grab samples A17-71 and 72 collected from the zone assayed 0.34 and 0.28 per cent copper, and 2.8 and 1.8 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 37213).
